HPKCHC-Harry Potter Knitting and Crochet House Cup

So here it is...The sorting hat have decided, i am in for this term, not quite a first year ( NQFY) which means i can take class like every one else but i am not earning point for my house ( well the house i wanted to be - ravenclaw- sigh....)

But it is really ok because i just love the idea of having been sorted... after all i make it to the castle...I am in the lNQFY lounge and i can go wandering inside ...gettin to know litlle more about all the great realisation of the students....and you know having the honor to say hi to the ghost of the tower or nearly headless nick....yes just great!

I was just out yesterday of the greenhouse, after professors marked my work as completed. this is a great news. i mean, i can still stay at the castle and wait for a class in june or maybe try an OWL...( wish i could ....but so much in my needles already)

Here was my assignment in Herbology may 2014:

Professors Kazen and knitsNhikes are arranging the different flowering plants carefully, so that the more … animated … varieties are safely separated from their less aggressive cousins.

“We hope everyone enjoyed their break, and welcome to new students,” Professor Cillaspins starts her lecture. “May is my favorite time of the year! The deciduous trees awaken and the flowers are in bloom. There is a kaleidoscope, or should I say, rainbow of color in the greenhouses and the grounds here at Hogwarts. Just look and take in all of the splendor.”

Professor knitsNhikes comments, “Just be sure you look with your eyes, and don’t touch the Venomous Tentacula.” You think you hear a snicker from behind you, but when you look over your shoulder, all you see is Professor Kazen busily tidying up some spilled potting soil.

For your assignment this month we would like you to take your inspiration from the blooms you see. Craft or dye a garden of color or, pick a favorite flower for your inspiration. No non-Ravelry crafts please. No WIPs will be accepted and should be taken to Detention.

Please remember to adhere to the General Rules of Conduct & Crafting and Project Standards:

Name: bonnet bloom
House: NQFY
Yardage: (optional) :100 m
Explanation of how your homework fits the prompt:

Dear professor,

I may thank you as this class makes me realize a knitting project i had in mind for some time  now,, very fast. My baby is 10 month and she grows so fast, such a big flower (she wears 2T-3T clothes, giant blood , i guess ;) ). i had to knit a bonnet for her as one is asked at the creche for this fall. Geranium was my inspiration, this flower can resist at minus temperature ( -16) that is why i am planting some in my garden. i charm the bonnet with all my love while knitting it ( ancient charm) so the geranium blooming in it will help to resist the big cold. my baby will be double protected that way....
